Danielle Marchand

Danielle, currently residing in St. Petersburg Florida, is working full-time as a Recreation Therapist at Bay Pines VA. She was fortunate to be hired onboard with this Dept. immediately following her college career at Western Carolina University, NC. Danielle prides herself on having a wide variety of hobbies, mostly revolved around being outdoors, being active or spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. Still relatively new to the "Salt Life," Danielle often enjoys spending some of her free time solo at any of the surrounding beaches or out exploring new places within the area. She enjoys creative expression and has always used writing to connect with others and fuel her imaginative side. She quotes below:

"Writing has been the most consistent and rewarding passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I enjoy composing pieces focused on motivation, overcoming challenges, and this "journey" of life we're all on. Throughout each major milestone in our lives and everything in-between, we face a series of both stubborn and fleeting thoughts. My purpose in writing is to capture these focal points and bring them to life. I am a young quirky and caring adult, who's passionate about helping and empowering others. My primary goal is to aide others on their quest, learn in each of my experiences and bring meaning into our every lives."
