TRIP SUMMARY
During my most recent travels in Nov. '14 I was lucky enough to see some truly extraordinary things, experience some blissful moments. From the waves of St. Petersburg through the coast lines of the Atlantic, the corn along upstate NY and the rolling hills in my home state I bonded to the sceneries around me. Many through a windshield, along the lanes of white lines and many worth stopping at. Towns, cities, suburbs, land and fields engraved in my mind along the road, the turns and the mountains I was among. So many walks of life seen and stories to be told, I reflected in each of these moments, witnessing nature so humbly.
This is a more genuine side of me that lit up and felt so exposed in the farms of Virginia and the vast terrain among the Great Smoky Mountains. Both simultaneously real and surreal, a glimpse and an awakening ran through me like an accomplishment I'd been striving for all along. Each times inclusive of moments where i felt so small and yet so a part of everything around me. Clocks stopped, and suddenly time didn't matter when the pavement my car treaded across was the very foundation that gave me a sense of groundedness, and true moments to be thankful for. Optimism was no longer illusive and happiness did not consist of a goal or to-do list. It was simply there and became a very loving part of me I'm so glad I made time for.
